A trip, costed as it runs
The LR is booked with the freight and the driver’s advance. On the road he sends a fuel slip, a toll receipt and a message about a charge he paid; each becomes an entry on the booking after the office approves it in AI Inbox. At delivery the POD photo arrives the same way and the invoice is raised from the LR. Trip profit is freight less fuel, expenses, driver pay and, for a hired truck, the owner’s bill, and it is there before the invoice is paid.
Trucks, tankers and trailers
Vehicle type is on the record, with own or market ownership. Material and loaded capacity are custom fields on the booking for loads billed by weight or volume. Permits, fitness and insurance per vehicle carry next-reminder dates, and services are reminded by kilometres or months, whichever comes first.
