What tanker operators get

Tanker as a vehicle type

Tanker is a vehicle type on the record; own and market tankers sit on the same list with make and model.

Material and capacity on the trip

Material on the booking; Loaded Capacity, In Time and Out Time as custom fields.

Permit and fitness reminders

National Permit, State Permit, Fitness, Pollution, Insurance, Vehicle Tax with expiry and reminder dates.

Fuel per km per tanker

Every fill with odometer; km per litre and cost per km; tankers below expected mileage flagged.

Trip billing

Invoice from the trips with tax, RCM and TDS; one invoice per customer per period.

Driver pay per trip

Fixed or percentage per trip, posted automatically; advances recovered at month-end.

Bring one tanker's month

A 30-minute demo where we enter its trips, fuel and permits and show profit per tanker. No credit card, no setup fee.

Why tankers need their own view

  • Repeating trips on the same route: the calendar shows them by month, planner or year
  • Compliance that bites: permits and fitness on the document list with next-reminder dates and an Overdue status
  • Fuel that is the margin: cost per km per tanker against expected mileage
  • Drivers paid per trip: trip pay posts per booking, advances on the driver's balance

Profit per tanker

All Vehicle Profit/Loss shows each tanker with revenue, supplier hire if hired, fuel, employee payments, expenses and profit. The Vehicle Maintenance Statement adds service cost; Schedules carries the EMI and depreciation.

A tanker trip

  1. Book the trip with customer, material, loaded capacity, tanker and driver.
  2. The driver fuels and sends the slip; it becomes a fuel entry with the odometer.
  3. He delivers and sends the POD or "delivered"; approve.
  4. Bill the customer from the trips; pay the driver per trip.
  5. Watch permit and fitness reminders; read profit per tanker.
