Receivables

Invoice ageing and receivables: who owes you, how much, and for how long

Every invoice carries its balance and age. The ageing report groups each customer into current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ days. Receipts are allocated to the invoices they settle. Built for transport owners and accounts teams.

Bring your outstanding sheet

A 30-minute demo where we load a few invoices and receipts and open the ageing report on them. No credit card, no setup fee.

Recording a receipt

  • Received from, payment type, received account, date, reference, notes, attached files
  • Against Voucher: offset against existing bills, line by line with invoice amount, balance and paying amount
  • Advance Payment: adjusted automatically against future bills
  • Already Paid, for receipts recorded elsewhere

The invoices move to Partial or Paid, the balance due updates, and the ageing report changes the same minute.

From invoice to cleared balance

  1. The invoice is raised from bookings with a due date; it shows Unpaid with age days counting.
  2. A payment arrives; record it with the account and payment type.
  3. Allocate it across the open invoices, or mark it as an advance.
  4. Invoices move to Partial or Paid; the LR shows Payment Received.
  5. Open the ageing report; call the 90+ column first.
  6. Print or share the customer statement when asked.
