What stays here
The operational detail Tally has no place for: which truck, which driver, which LR, the POD, the odometer, the tyre serial, the permit expiry. That is why the books are kept here first and exported, not the other way round.
Ledger mapping
The chart of accounts has groups and default ledgers for a transport company. Before the first export, the ledger names are matched to the CA's Tally ledgers once; after that the export repeats each period.
Month-end with Tally
- Close the month in NShine ERP: invoices, receipts, bills, payroll, schedules.
- Check the trial balance here.
- Export the period for Tally; send it to the CA.
- The CA imports it into TallyPrime and files from there.
