Cement transport software: every trip from the plant counted, weighed and billed before the plant audits it
Bulkers and trucks on a plant contract run the same roads every day, and the only argument is the count. The plant has a weighbridge sheet; you have a register. NShine ERP gives each trip a booking with the loaded weight, each vehicle its fuel and service figures, and the plant one invoice it can match line by line. Built for cement transporters, bulk and bagged.

Why cement work is counted differently
A cement contract pays by the tonne and by the route, on a rate fixed for the year. Hundreds of trips a month leave the plant, some in bulkers to a grinding unit or a ready-mix plant, some bagged to a depot or a dealer. The plant pays against its own dispatch and weighbridge records, so any trip you cannot show with a weight, a date and a delivery proof is a trip the plant will cut. At month-end the transporter is reconstructing a month of movements from a register, a WhatsApp group and the driver’s memory.
- The plant’s sheet says 412 trips; the register says 419; nobody can show the seven
- Bulkers and bagged trucks are on different notebooks, with different rates
- Hired vehicles brought in for the peak are paid from a message, and TDS on hire is missed
- Fuel is one bill from the station; which bulker drinks more is a guess
- The invoice to the plant is built in Excel and comes back cut
What cement transporters get
A booking per trip, with the weight
Plant, destination, material and the loaded weight from the weighbridge as fields on the booking, with in and out times. The plant’s reference goes in a custom field so the match is theirs to fail.
Bulkers and trucks on one list
Vehicle type on the record, own or market, so a bulker and a bagged-cement truck sit on the same list with their own documents, fuel and services.
One invoice per plant
Pick the month’s trips on one invoice with tax rate, HSN, RCM and TDS; a saved report in the plant’s columns goes with it. Balance due and age days after that.
Hired vehicles billed per trip
A market vehicle carries its owner as supplier; his rate is on the booking; his bill is raised from it with TDS on hire. Plans count only your own vehicles.
Fuel per km per vehicle
Every fill with odometer, from the slip the driver sends; km per litre and cost per km per bulker; the ones below expected mileage flagged.
Services and papers
Service reminders by kilometres or months, whichever first; permits, fitness, insurance and tax with next-reminder dates and an Overdue flag.
Bring one month of plant dispatch sheets

The plant’s audit, before and after
Register and Excel
What a cement contractor lives with today.
- Trips in a register; the plant’s sheet disagrees
- Invoice built in Excel, cut by the plant’s audit
- Hired vehicle owners paid from memory; TDS on hire missed
- TDS deducted by the plant reconciled at year-end
- No idea which bulker or route made money
NShine ERP
The same contractor on one record.
- A booking per trip with weight, times and a POD
- Invoice from the bookings; report in the plant’s columns
- A bill per hire with TDS; owner dues by age
- Customer TDS Report, invoice by invoice
- Profit per vehicle and per plant
Bulk and bagged on the same contract
A bulker trip and a bagged trip are both bookings. The material field says which; the loaded weight comes from the weighbridge; the rate on the booking is the contract rate for that route. When the plant sends its daily dispatch sheet, AI Data Import maps the columns, checks each row and creates the trips on your confirm, so the day’s loads are minutes of review rather than an evening of typing.
Delivery proof the plant accepts
The driver photographs the signed delivery challan at the depot, dealer or site and sends it on WhatsApp or uploads it in the driver app. AI Inbox matches it to the booking and stop, flags a repeat image, and waits for your Approve. A trip with a weight, a date and a proof is a trip the plant pays for.
Fuel and wear on short, repeated runs
Cement runs are short and loaded one way, so a vehicle that drinks a little more per kilometre loses money on every trip. Every fill carries litres, amount, odometer and station; km per litre and cost per km come out per vehicle, with the fleet grouped against expected mileage. Dust and overloading bring services forward: each task has a frequency in kilometres and months, and whichever comes first makes it due.
A month on a plant contract
- Import each day’s dispatch sheet, or book the trips with plant, destination, material and loaded weight.
- Drivers send fuel slips and delivery proofs on WhatsApp; approve them as they come.
- Hired vehicle owners get a bill per trip from the bookings, with TDS on hire.
- At month-end, pick the delivered trips on one invoice to the plant with tax and TDS; export the report in their columns.
- Allocate the receipt; record the TDS the plant deducted; read profit per vehicle and per route.
