Attendance

Driver attendance and loss of pay: mark the exceptions, let the run do the rest

The register assumes everyone was present. You mark the days that were not. Paid days total at the right of each row, and the payroll run reads them. Built for transport offices that keep attendance for a few hundred drivers and staff.

*No credit card required

The register

Open Attendance for a month. Every employee is a row; every day is a column with its weekday; the last column is Paid days. A note at the top reads "Unmarked days count as Present". A Counts tab summarises the month.

  • Mark only absences and other exceptions; the rest is present by default
  • Paid days per employee update as you mark
  • Switch months at the top; the Counts view totals the register
  • The payroll run uses paid days for monthly packages; trip-paid drivers are paid per booking regardless

What it does for payroll

Paid days

The number the monthly package is prorated on, visible on the register before the run.

Loss of pay

Days marked as unpaid reduce paid days; the run computes the deduction.

Drivers and staff

One register for everyone; drivers on trip pay are unaffected by paid days.

Advances

Recovered in the same run; the run blocks a negative result.

Statement

Single Employee Statement shows the month's salary, advances and balance.

Counts

The Counts tab gives the month's totals per employee at a glance.

Bring one month's attendance diary

A 30-minute demo where we mark it and run payroll from it. No credit card, no setup fee.

Month-end

  1. Mark the absences on the register through the month.
  2. Check paid days per employee on the right.
  3. Run payroll; packages prorate on paid days; advances recover.
  4. Post salaries; print statements for anyone who asks.

Who marks it, and when

The clerk marks absences as they happen, from the office or a phone browser. Drivers on the road are present by default, so a long haul needs no marking at all. At month-end the register is already complete; the run reads it the same day.

  • One register for drivers, clerks and managers
  • Exceptions only, so a 300-row register takes minutes a week
  • Paid days visible before the run, so disputes are settled before payday
