Salary payments: mark the approved salaries paid and export the bank details, once a month
The payroll run decides who gets what. Salary payments is the list that follows: every employee with net pay, bank, account number, IFSC or IBAN and a status, to be marked paid and exported for the bank transfer. Built for the person who pays two hundred drivers on the same day.

The screen
The Salary payments screen for a month is headed "Mark approved salaries as paid and export bank details" and shows one row per employee:
Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
Employee | Name as on the employee record |
Bank, Account, IFSC, IBAN | Taken from the employee record; blank where the details were never entered |
Status | Ready to approve, Held for review, Blocked, Excluded |
Net | Net pay for the month from the payroll run |
A count at the top shows how many rows are Held and how many are Posted. Rows without bank details show blank bank columns, which is the list of people whose details you still need before the transfer.
What it does
One row per employee
Drivers, clerks and managers in one list for the month, with net pay from the run.
Statuses carried over
Ready to approve, Held for review, Blocked and Excluded, as the payroll run left them.
Bank details per person
Bank, account, IFSC and IBAN from the employee record; blanks show who is missing details.
Export for the bank
Export the bank details for the transfer file; mark the salaries paid once sent.
Posted to the books
Salary payments post to the same ledgers as everything else; the statement shows them.
By month
Switch the month at the top; each month has its own list and counts.

Before and after the run
- Attendance marks the exceptions; paid days total per employee.
- Employee Payments holds trip pay, advances and bonuses on each balance.
- Payroll computes the month, recovers advances, blocks negative or zero net, holds anything odd for review.
- Salary payments lists the result with bank details, to be exported and marked paid.
Why the blanks matter
A driver with no account number on file is a cash payment or a delay. The blank bank columns are the list to fix before the transfer, and the employee record is where the details go.
Payday
- Approve the payroll run.
- Open Salary payments for the month; check Held and Blocked rows.
- Fill missing bank details on the employee records.
