Where the margin goes on a tipper
- Fuel. Short loaded runs and long idles; cost per km per tipper shows which ones drink.
- Tyres. Tracked by serial with cost and the tipper they are on; removal and refit history on the asset.
- Services. Reminders by kilometres, from odometer readings on fuel entries and the driver app.
- Drivers. Fixed or percentage per trip, posted per booking; advances on the balance; recovered at month-end.
Billing the site
Invoice the contractor from the trips with tax, RCM and TDS; one invoice per period. The travel log gives km and hours per day for hourly or per-trip contracts. A custom report with your own fields (loaded capacity, in and out time) matches the site's format.
A tipper's day
- Trips are booked for the day; the driver sees them in the app.
- Odometer and hours go into the travel log; fuel slips arrive on WhatsApp.
